Meet Kaylyn
Kaylyn is a violinist and devoted private instructor who is passionate about music and her students’ learning. She recently graduated from Brigham Young University- Idaho with a Bachelor of Musical Arts Degree focusing on Private Studio Work. As a private instructor, Kaylyn is dedicated to helping musicians achieve their musical goals and finding joy in their music.
As an active musician, Kaylyn has performed with a variety of ensembles in Baroque, Pit, and symphonic settings. She recently performed Sibelius’s Violin Concerto and has participated in pit orchestras for productions including Mary Poppins, as well as the operas The Elixir of Love and The Mikado. She has also had the opportunity to perform alongside Tony-nominated artist Jeremy Jordan, male vocal group GENTRI, and acclaimed violinist William Hagen. Whether in the lesson studio or on stage, Kaylyn is passionate about performing and sharing her love of music with others.
More About Kaylyn
In her free time, Kaylyn enjoys spending time with her husband, Paul. She married him in August 2024, and their life together has been some of the best of her life. Kaylyn is currently learning Haitian Creole as her second language to connect with her husband’s culture.
Kaylyn is also an avid reader and has read 101 books this year, with a goal of reaching 150 by the end of the year. When she isn’t reading, she enjoys having girls’ nights with her friends and spending time on long phone calls with her long-distance family and friends.
